Sandbags for construction: ballast, trenches and erosion control

What contractors actually use 18 kg bags for — and how to order by the pallet without slowing the crew.

On most sites, sandbags do three jobs: hold things down, hold earth back, and channel water. Scaffolding ballast, hoarding feet, trench breakers, slope toes, dewatering berms — all the same 18 kg bag.

Because our bags are filled year-round and palletized (55 per pallet), a foreman can call in pallets the way they call in lumber: by the number, delivered or picked up.

How contractors order

For pickup, pay online and send a truck to Kennedale, Brintnell, Ozerna, or Westpark in Fort Saskatchewan.

Program work and big pours: request a quote with the site address, quantity, and date. Freight is priced per load so you know the landed cost before you commit.

One tip that saves money

A full pallet contains 55 bags and is fastest to load. Non-pallet quantities are also available at the same pickup price per bag.
